What are some different ways to evangelize?

Many Christians struggle with sharing the gospel because they do not know what to say or how to say it. They also think evangelism means standing on a street corner with a bullhorn or walking up to total strangers and "hitting them between the eyes" with Jesus or their Bible. But there are many ways to share Jesus and the gospel's good news.

Here are five simple ideas to try if you are not comfortable with walking up to strangers and starting a conversation about Jesus:

  1. Order a personalized license plate frame with a gospel-centered verse or statement about Jesus on it.

  2. Share your faith on social media. You can post Bible verses or share someone else's content that expresses the gospel in a very creative, unique, or bold way.

  3. Send weekly texts or emails to people in your contacts list. They can be uplifting, enlightening, or inspirational—just make sure to include a Bible verse related to your message.

  4. Place a gospel-centered sign in your yard or a poster on your garage door for people to see as they drive by your house. Or, if finances permit, share a gospel-centered Scripture on a billboard strategically located in a high-traffic area.

  5. Invite people to church or a Bible study. It is an excellent way for them to hear the gospel and ask questions, which can jump-start a more in-depth conversation between you afterward.

There are many ways to share Jesus with people. So, get creative and just "go for it!" I would love to hear what you do, whether you try any of the above suggestions or develop one of your own.
