What Old Testament prophecies did Jesus fulfill?

The Old Testament contains over 300 prophecies about the promised Messiah who would save people from their sins. Each of these Messianic revelations was fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who was not born until 400 years after the Old Testament was completed.

In his book Science Speaks, Peter W. Stoner demonstrated the extraordinary nature of Jesus fulfilling these prophecies by calculating the probability of a single individual fulfilling only 8 of the 300 Messianic prophecies. The result was a staggering “one in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,” or one in 100 quadrillions, highlighting the rarity of this event.

To put this probability into a relatable analogy, it would be like filling the entire state of Texas two feet deep with silver dollars, marking one of the coins with a red X, stirring the whole mass thoroughly, and having a blindfolded person go anywhere in the state to choose a silver dollar. Their hand-picked coin would be the one marked with the red X.

When Peter W. Stoner mathematically computed the probability of one person fulfilling just 48 of the 300 Messianic prophecies, the number jumped to “one in 10 to the 157th power” (10 with 157 zeros after it). Yet, Jesus fulfilled all 300!
