Can Someone Be Saved After Taking The Mark Of The Beast?

During the seven-year tribulation, the Antichrist will require everyone to receive the mark of the beast and worship his image. Those who refuse his mandate will be executed. Revelation 13:15 says, “And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed.”

Those who comply with the Antichrist’s demands and receive the mark of the beast cannot and will not be saved. This unfortunate fact is not because Jesus is unable to redeem them or lacks the desire to save them from their depraved state. It is the result of their pledged allegiance to and worship of the Antichrist. In other words, their unbelief and continued rebellion toward Jesus ultimately seals them in their spiritually lost condition, and nothing in Scripture remotely suggests they ever repent.

On the contrary, the Bible clearly states that those who take the mark and worship the beast will “drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name” (Revelation 14:10-11).

You may ask, “Who can be saved during the tribulation?”

The Bible discloses that many will be born again during the tribulation. This number comprises everyone who refuses to take the mark and turns to Jesus by faith for salvation. John wrote about them in Revelation 7:14-15 after he saw a great multitude standing before God’s throne dressed in white robes.

These passages in Revelation state, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.” You can find additional verses mentioning those saved during the tribulation by clicking here.

I hope this information helps you understand why those receiving the mark cannot and will not be saved and spurs you to share the gospel even more!
